We bake in small batches, to order — so every box is fresh out of the oven, not sitting in storage. We use real butter (never margarine), and we hold every flavour to the same exacting standard. The packaging is part of the product: every box is presentation-ready from the moment it's sealed.
Up to 14 days in a cool, dry place. Shortbread is a naturally long-lasting biscuit — the low moisture content is what keeps it crisp. That said, most people don't need 14 days to finish a box.
Original, Almond, Cranberry & Macadamia, Chocolate Dipped, Chocolate Fudge, and Apricot & Dark Chocolate. Each is a complete shortbread expression on its own — not a flavour variation of one base recipe, but a character of its own. The Discovery includes one of each; The Collection includes two of each.
Yes — we ship across South Africa. Delivery times and costs vary by location. Gauteng orders typically arrive within 1–2 business days. Orders to other provinces usually take 2–4 business days. Free delivery applies on orders of 10 or more boxes to Gauteng addresses.
Delivery is calculated at checkout based on your location. Gauteng orders of 10+ boxes qualify for free delivery. For large corporate orders (20+ boxes), get in touch via WhatsApp and we'll work out the most cost-effective arrangement.
Absolutely — corporate gifting is one of our most common use cases. We can handle volume orders, custom gift messaging, and invoicing for companies that need to process through accounts. For 20 or more boxes, contact us via WhatsApp for a volume rate. For smaller quantities, you can order directly online.
Yes — after placing an order, you'll have the option to lock in 15% off every future delivery, forever. You choose the frequency (monthly or bi-weekly) and quantity. There's a minimum of 3 deliveries, after which you can cancel any time, no questions asked. Subscriptions must be set up after your first order.
We stand behind what we make. If your order arrives damaged or isn't what you expected, get in touch via WhatsApp and we'll make it right. We're a small operation — there's no support ticket system, just a direct conversation.
For individual orders, 2–3 business days is usually enough. For corporate or volume orders (especially for an event or a specific delivery date), we recommend at least a week's notice — and two weeks if you're ordering 20+ boxes or need custom gift messaging.
For corporate orders with custom messaging across multiple boxes, mention it in your WhatsApp enquiry and we'll accommodate it.
